NORDIC SMILE™ — RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

We want you to feel confident when shopping with Nordic Smile™.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work.

This policy applies to all products purchased through shopnordicsmile.no.


2. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

Consumers in Norway have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, starting from the day you receive your order.

During this period, you may cancel your purchase without providing a reason, as long as the product is returned in essentially the same condition as received.

3. Hygiene & Health-Sensitive Products

Certain items cannot be returned once opened due to hygiene and health protection rules.
This includes all oral-care products such as:

  • Sonic electric toothbrushes

  • Brush heads

  • Plaque/tartar removers

  • Any product intended for use inside the mouth

Important:

A return can be accepted only if the hygiene seal is fully intact.

If the hygiene seal is broken, opened, or tampered with, the product is no longer eligible for return or refund.


4. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In original packaging

  • With all accessories included

  • With hygiene seals unbroken

Products that have been used, tested in the mouth, or show signs of wear cannot be refunded for hygiene reasons.


5. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, contact us at:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Product(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return (optional)

We will respond with step-by-step instructions for shipping the item back.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Please note:

  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank/payment provider.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.


7. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will arrange:
✅ A replacement
or
✅ A full refund
at no additional cost.


8. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Products with broken hygiene seals

  • Used oral-care devices

  • Opened brush heads or scaler tips

  • Items not in original condition

  • Items returned after 14 days without prior approval

  • Gift cards


9. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.
